Ryan Ma is a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate in the Department of Anesthesia, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. He attended Pomona College and majored in Neuroscience and minored in Asian American Studies, where he explored the intersection of health and minority identities to understand how various factors influence and characterize people’s lived experiences. Ryan works in the outpatient pediatric pain management clinic, the Biobehavioral Pediatric Pain lab, and the Rabbitts/Groenewald labs to help support various studies. He plans to pursue a career in healthcare as a physician, seeking to provide care with cultural humility and uplifting the voices of marginalized populations.
